- 06No. However, we do believe in the beautiful practice of baby dedication. Baby dedication is a special time when parents publicly commit to raising their child according to the Word of God and nurturing them in the Christian Apostolic faith. During this meaningful ceremony, parents dedicate their child's life to the LORD, pledging to model Christ-like living in their home, and commit to teaching their child the truth of God's Word.As a church family, we also joyfully promise to pray for, encourage, and support your family as you guide your child in growing to know and love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We consider it a privilege to partner with parents in helping the next generation develop a lifelong relationship with God.As part of the baby dedication service, our Bishop will lovingly pray over your child, asking the Lord to surround them with His divine hedge of protection and to richly bless their life with His grace, wisdom, favor, and guidance. We pray that as your child grows; they will walk in God's purpose, experience His unfailing love, and remain steadfast in their faith all the days of their life.
- 07We believe that speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, is the initial biblical sign of receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4). This wonderful promise is available to everyone whom the Lord calls. The infilling of the Holy Ghost is a miraculous work of God—no person can impart His Spirit. It is God alone who fills the believer, transforming hearts and empowering them to live a victorious life for His glory. If you have never spoken in other tongues, or if its been years since you last spoken, our ministry team would be honored to pray with you. We believe God's promise is still available today, and we are here to encourage, support, and pray with you as you seek His presence. We trust that, when your heart, faith, and belief meet Gods standard, He will fill you with His Holy Spirit.Click the box above to read more about Why God Choose Tongues.
